About this time last year I was vacationing in Conroe, TX. It’s a nice place. Smells a lot like pine. Here’s a marker brush drawing I did from the front porch of the cabin.

A study of various eyes. I like to do drawings like this to keep myself loose and to keep pushing for variety in my work. It’s so easy to fall into the habit of drawing people with the same eye, nose, head, and ear shapes.
