Here’s another test page I did for my aforementioned star-trek-but-not comic idea called “Flight of the Icarus.”

As an experiment, I colored the last panel too. I think I like the B&W (more manga-like) style better.

Oh, and this isn’t the comic I referred to in my last post, sorry – Although I will probably wind up making a minicomic, or two, of this concept. Eventually.

For the at least the remainder of this story arc, I’m going to be releasing one comic per week. But to make up for it, they will be double sized. Plus, I’ll be posting sketches and finished art twice a week. So you’ll still be getting three updates per week!

I hoping to use the time to get/finish some project work (money is a good thing, as it turns out) and to work on a new comic – More details on that soon.

My entry for #tuesdaysketch. This week’s theme was “Mer-Folk.” I figured most would go with the whole mermaid approach, so I decided to go more fishy.

Been a crazy kind of week. Topped off this morning by my Macbook Pro dying. Yikes!

The next strip (which I had penciled on the MBP) is a slightly unusual one for ZdC. It’s extra large and fun though. Hopefully I can have it ready for Monday.

Oh, and Mr.C up there? Well let’s just say that I pity da fool who messes with him.

This was a quick sketch I did for a potential t-shirt design “Pigs in Space.” But not those pigs in space.

Sorry things have been a little slow around here of late. I will be getting back to two comic updates a week. Soon. Until then, I’ll try and pick up the slack by posting more sketches.
