This is why Americans are so fat:
All that is "Better for you"? Better than what?
I’ve decided to change the update schedule a bit. Now you’ll get new comics every Monday and Friday, and a sketch every Wednesday.
I updated the site some too. You may not notice too much, I only tweaked it a little bit visually, but I reworked the code to make it load faster.
Cheers!
Justin Leach, of Monkey Business fame, has published a comic book. Him and his crew — Justin Leach (writing), Andrew Kilian( inks and pencils), and Omi Remalante (colors) — put a lot of work into it, and it shows.
The book, Majestic XII, weaves elements of sci-fi — as you can tell by the title’s nod to the Area 51 coverup conspiracy — and super-heroes.
The line work is very clean, and the colors are very vibrant! It’s an in-your-face, bold story. If you are interested in super heroes and sci-fi, you should check it out.
You can see some preview pages and order it online, at Indy Planet.
A Note About Indy-Planet
I’ve been thinking about using Indy Planet (and their Print on Demand counterpart Ka-Blam) for some upcoming comic works of my own. And after looking at Justin’s book, I think they’ll definitely be my first choice for printing and publishing comics. The paper is fairly heavyweight and the color is very crisp.
When we were young, my brother and I loved Disney's DuckTales. I think we watched every episode. I really liked some of the later characters like GizmoDuck here. But I think Bubba Duck saw them jumping the shark a bit.
